Keep the hair you have.
Male pattern hair loss is common, gradual, and treatable, and the earlier you start, the more hair you keep. We confirm the cause, check for other contributors, and build a plan with proven medications and PRP.

Common hair concerns in men
Not all hair loss is the same. The pattern helps us find the cause.
Receding hairline
Thinning at the temples and front, the classic start of male pattern hair loss.
Thinning on top
Gradual thinning at the crown, often noticed in photos or under bright light.
Sudden shedding
Diffuse shedding after illness, stress, weight loss, or low iron. Often reversible.
Patchy hair loss
Round, smooth patches can be alopecia areata, which needs different treatment.
Find the cause, then treat it
A careful assessment means you're not paying for treatments that don't fit your type of hair loss.
Assess
We look at your pattern, family history, medications, and scalp.
Test
Bloodwork when needed, such as iron, thyroid, and vitamin D.
Treat
Proven medications first, with PRP as an add-on for suitable candidates.
Track
Photos and follow-up at regular intervals so you can see what's working.
Proven options to slow loss and regrow
Most men do best with a combination. Results take time, usually 6 to 12 months.
Finasteride
A daily tablet or topical solution that lowers DHT, the hormone behind male pattern hair loss. It helps slow loss and can regrow hair.
- Tablet or topical options
- We'll discuss possible side effects
Minoxidil
Topical foam or solution, or a low-dose tablet, that extends the growth phase and thickens hair.
- Works well with finasteride
- Early shedding can be a good sign
Platelet-rich plasma
Injections of your own concentrated platelets into the scalp to support thicker growth, usually alongside medication.
PRP for hair loss →Hair restoration
For more advanced loss, we'll talk through further options and refer when appropriate.
Hair restoration →Taking finasteride? Let your provider know before PSA testing. Finasteride lowers PSA levels, so results need to be interpreted with that in mind.

Frequently asked questions
How long until I see results?
Most men see less shedding within 3 to 6 months and regrowth by 6 to 12 months. Treatment needs to continue to keep results.
Does finasteride cause sexual side effects?
A small number of men notice lower libido or erection changes. These usually resolve if the medication is stopped. We'll talk through the risks and benefits with you.
Is PRP better than medication?
PRP works best alongside proven medications rather than instead of them. We'll help you decide if it's worth adding.
Can bloodwork find a cause?
Sometimes. Low iron, thyroid problems, and vitamin deficiencies can cause or worsen shedding, and they're simple to treat.
