Finishing too soon is common, and treatable.
Premature ejaculation is one of the most common sexual concerns men have, and one of the least talked about. We offer private, practical care that combines topical and oral medication with pelvic floor physiotherapy.
Covered by Alberta Health
Consultations are covered with a valid Alberta Personal Health Card. No membership fees.
Private and discreet
Confidential visits with the same small team from your first appointment through follow-up.
In-person or virtual
Many visits and follow-ups can be virtual. Exams and procedures happen in clinic.
You're far from alone
Many men experience premature ejaculation at some point. It's a medical concern, not a personal failing.
Lifelong PE
Ejaculation happens very quickly, from the first sexual experiences onward.
Acquired PE
It started later in life, sometimes alongside erection problems, prostate issues, stress, or a new relationship.
Anxiety and pressure
Worry about performance can create a cycle that makes it harder to last.
Impact on intimacy
Frustration, avoiding sex, or tension with a partner are common and worth addressing.
A private, step-by-step plan
We start by understanding the pattern, then build a plan that fits you and your partner.
Assess
A confidential conversation about your history, plus a check for ED, prostate, or thyroid issues.
Treat
Topical or oral medication and pelvic floor physiotherapy, based on what fits you.
Follow up
We check in, adjust the plan, and treat related concerns along the way.
What actually helps
Most men do best with a combination of approaches.
Topical & oral medication
Numbing sprays or creams applied shortly before sex reduce sensitivity, and certain oral medications, taken daily or a few hours before sex, can delay ejaculation. If ED is part of the picture, treating it often helps too.
- Chosen based on your health and other medications
- Using a condom with topicals avoids numbing your partner
- Reviewed at follow-up
Pelvic floor physiotherapy
Our physiotherapy team teaches you to control the muscles involved in ejaculation, which can improve timing and confidence.
- Private, one-on-one assessment
- A home program you can do anywhere
- Works well alongside medication
PE and ED often go together. Some men rush to finish because they're worried about losing their erection. Treating the erection problem can make a big difference to timing.
