Frequently asked questions
Is an enlarged prostate the same as prostate cancer?
No. An enlarged prostate (BPH) is not cancer and doesn't raise your risk of it, but the symptoms can overlap, so it's worth getting checked.
Should I have a PSA test?
It depends on your age, family history, and preferences. We'll talk through the benefits and limits so you can decide.
Is a vasectomy reversible?
A vasectomy should be considered permanent. Reversal is sometimes possible but isn't always successful.
Can physiotherapy help men with bladder leaks?
Yes. Pelvic floor physiotherapy can improve leaks and dribbling, including after prostate surgery.
