Low energy, low drive? Let's check properly.
Fatigue, low sex drive, poor sleep, and losing muscle can have many causes. We test the right way, look for what's driving your symptoms, and if testosterone is truly low, build a safe, monitored treatment plan.
Covered by Alberta Health
Consultations are covered with a valid Alberta Personal Health Card. No membership fees.
Private and discreet
Confidential visits with the same small team from your first appointment through follow-up.
In-person or virtual
Many visits and follow-ups can be virtual. Exams and procedures happen in clinic.
Signs your hormones may be off
Low testosterone often creeps up slowly, so many men assume it's just age or stress.
Energy and sleep
Ongoing fatigue, poor sleep, and needing more caffeine to get through the day.
Sex drive and erections
Lower desire, fewer morning erections, or erections that aren't as firm as before.
Mood and focus
Irritability, low mood, low motivation, and brain fog.
Body changes
Losing muscle and strength, gaining belly fat, or slower recovery after exercise.
Testing done right, treatment done safely
Testosterone levels change through the day and with illness, sleep, and weight. Getting the diagnosis right matters.
Assess
We review your symptoms, sleep, medications, alcohol, weight, and fertility plans.
Test
Early morning blood test(s), plus labs that look for the cause.
Treat
Address what's driving low levels first. If testosterone is still low, we discuss therapy.
Monitor
Regular checks of your levels, blood count, and prostate health to keep treatment safe.
Your plan, based on your results
Many men see improvement by treating the root cause. When testosterone therapy is right for you, we choose the form that fits your life.
Fix what's lowering your levels
Excess weight, poor sleep, sleep apnea, alcohol, some medications, and chronic stress can all lower testosterone.
- Weight and metabolic support
- Sleep and sleep apnea screening
- Medication review
Testosterone gel or cream
Applied daily to the skin for steady levels. Easy to adjust.
- Daily application at home
- Cover the area to avoid passing it to partners or children
Testosterone injections
Given every one to two weeks, at home or in clinic. We'll teach you how.
- Fewer doses to remember
- Dose and timing adjusted to your levels
Planning children?
Testosterone therapy can lower sperm production. If you want children now or soon, we'll discuss options that protect fertility instead.
- Talk to us before starting
- Specialist referral when needed
What follow-up looks like
Testosterone therapy is a long-term treatment, so regular check-ins are part of every plan.
Baseline labs
Confirmed low testosterone, blood count, PSA when appropriate, and a review of your goals.
First follow-up
We check your levels and blood count, ask how you're feeling, and adjust the dose.
Symptom review
Most men notice changes in energy, mood, and libido. Muscle and body changes take longer.
Ongoing safety checks
Testosterone level, blood count, and prostate health, plus a check on whether treatment is still helping.

Frequently asked questions
How do I know if my testosterone is really low?
It takes both symptoms and low results on early morning blood test(s). A result taken later in the day can be misleading.
Will testosterone therapy affect my fertility?
It is possible that testosterone therapy can affect your fertility. Low sperm production can cause infertility while you are on treatment. Tell us if you're planning children so we can discuss other options.
Is testosterone therapy safe for my heart and prostate?
For men with confirmed low testosterone, treatment with regular monitoring is considered safe for most. We check your blood count and prostate health and review your heart risk before and during treatment.
How soon will I feel a difference?
Many men notice changes in libido, energy, and mood within a few weeks to three months. Changes in muscle and body composition take longer.
